Grant was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma on October 7, 1971 to parents Richard and Karen (Broomfield) Hugo. Grant earned a Bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma. Grant would be outdoors whenever he could.
