    On Friday, June 21, 2019, William “Marlin” Hawkins, loving husband and father of two children, passed away at the age of 83. Marlin was born Oct. 6, 1935, in Dill City to James and Lula (Prescott) Hawkins. Marlin married the love of his life, Patsy (Peddy) Hawkins on Aug. 27, 1960, in Lubbock, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in accounting, from Texas Tech in Lubbock. Marlin worked at Mobil Oil in Dallas, Texas, Midland, Texas, and Hobbs, N.M.     Robert Paul Birdwell was born Nov. 9, 1935, in Hammon, to Ruby Pickett (Wofford) and Samuel Robert Birdwell. He passed away July 6, 2019, at Clinton, at the age of 83 years, seven months and 27 days. Paul grew up in Butler where he attended school graduating in 1954. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he was stationed in Victoria, Texas, at the 450th TAC Hospital where he worked in the medication dispensary.     Frank O’Halloran Jr. was born March 2, 1922, to Frank and Bessie Elizabeth (Merkle) O’Halloran in Cordell and died June 26, 2019, at the age of 97. He decided he wanted to be a dentist at the age of 11, after considering medicine, but questioned whether he was dedicated enough to become a physician. After graduating at the head of his class from Cordell High School, he enrolled in the University of Oklahoma at Norman.     Helen Margaret (Corcorran) Gambrell was born March 28, 1923, at Burns Flat, to Daniel and Cloy (Pringle) Corcorran. She met her heavenly father on June 19, 2019. Helen passed away at Corn Heritage Village Nursing Home in Corn, with her children by her side.     Aaron Eugene Williams, 12, of Dill City, passed away June 20, 2019. He was born on Jan. 24, 2007, in Elk City, Oklahoma, to Delbert Williams and Misty (Turner) Neeley.     Gerald D. Nickel was born Oct. 31, 1937, in Clinton, to Otto and Emma (Von Essen) Nickel. He passed away on June 14, 2019, in his Bessie home. Gerald graduated from Oklahoma Bible Academy in Menno in 1955. Following graduation he attended Bethel College. In 1960, he served in the Army National Guard.
